About Us

Our Story
Our journey into farming began back in 2012 when we purchased a herd of Droughtmaster cattle to raise on a small block of land in the country, with the intention of enjoying a slower pace of life and quality time in the outdoors. Quickly falling in love with the freedom and wholesome opportunities that farming presented, as well as seeing firsthand the many benefits that raising one’s own food had on the health and wellbeing of our family, propelled us into acquiring 170 acres within Moreton Bay to commence a small-scale farming operation in 2018. We are very excited to be partnering with you as we seek to steward our land and livestock with care and respect and produce high quality & nutritious beef & lamb for your table.
Cheers from our family to yours!
Laura & the Eden Park Farm Fam

Our Farm
Eden Park sits on 170 acres of beautiful rolling hills, with a meandering creek and a variety of gums, native trees and ancient figs scattered throughout the property. Our animals are born and raised on the pastures here and are free to roam and graze as nature intended. We regularly rotate them through the different paddocks for fresh, nutritious feed and to ensure quality periods of rest for our pastures between grazing. We are committed to implementing sustainable farming practises such as improving our soil health, increasing diversity within our pastures, minimising waste, limiting the use of chemical inputs, and fostering biodiversity. We know that healthy soils and pastures mean healthy, happy livestock.

Our Animals
We run a mixture of Droughtmaster, Brangus and Charolais Beef cattle on the farm, all chosen for their excellent genetic traits, the hybrid vigour of their offspring and their ability to excel on pasture and produce delicious and tender meat. We also run a small mob of Aussie White Sheep, known for their premium quality. They are great mothers, often birth twins and are a fast growing, self-shedding meat sheep. We also have an assortment of chickens, ducks and some bees, who all work together to fertilise and pollinate our orchard and vegetable gardens.

Our People
The farm is a real family affair and our children have been an integral part of our story, graduating from being strapped to mum as babies whilst working in the cattle yards, to building fences, scooping poop and caring for poddy calves and orphaned lambs. Living on a farm genuinely teaches so many life skills such as resilience, patience, fortitude, gratitude and respect and we are blessed to be learning these life lessons together.
We are also fortunate to have a small team of skilled and passionate people working alongside us, on the ground and behind the scenes, ensuring the day-to-day operations of the farm and paddock to plate business run smoothly.
